- As Travelpro continues evolving into a more agile, data-driven organization, the Senior Head of Accounting plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity that enables sustainable growth.
- This leader owns the Company's global accounting operations, financial close, consolidated reporting, governance, technical accounting, audits, tax support, lender reporting, and internal control environment.
- In the first 6–12 months, success will be measured by strengthening close processes, enhancing reporting quality, improving controls and process efficiency, and building a high-performing accounting organization.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the Company's accounting organization, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant accounting operations across business units and geographies.
- Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, reserves, eliminations, and financial statement preparation.
- Deliver consolidated financial statements, Board reporting, lender reporting packages, management reporting, and executive financial analyses.
- Provide leadership for corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, accounting policy development, internal controls, and financial governance.
- Partner with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, historical trend analysis, balance sheet assumptions, and financial planning.
- Oversee borrowing base reporting, debt compliance, and lender reporting requirements.
- Lead credit, collections, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, product costing, reserves, purchase price variance analysis, and inventory valuation activities.
- Direct annual financial statement audits and compliance audits, including ABL and 401(k) audits, while serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Support tax compliance, tax provisions, required footnotes, UNICAP, R&D credits, and related tax reporting.
- Identify financial reporting risks, strengthen internal controls, and lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team while establishing clear priorities, accountability, and technical excellence. Collaborate across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, and executive leadership to ensure accounting implications are incorporated into strategic business decisions.
What It Takes
- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience with expertise in general ledger accounting, financial analysis, consolidations, and financial close across multiple entities and currencies.
- Demonstrated success leading complex accounting organizations and improving financial processes.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership, auditors, lenders, and cross-functional business teams.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals.
- Experience supporting lender reporting, debt compliance, borrowing base reporting, or ABL environments preferred.
Capabilities
- Strategic leadership with strong business and financial acumen.
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
