About Dr. Berg Nutritionals
Dr. Berg Nutritionals is a leader in the health and wellness industry focused on addressing the root causes of health concerns. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth, where you can contribute to helping millions achieve better health through education, premium supplements, and holistic practices like the Healthy Keto® diet.
Working with us, you’ll be part of a globally recognized brand with a social media presence reaching over 49 million followers across platforms.
Be a part of an innovative and fast-growing company that is passionate about transforming lives through education on health and wellness. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where your contributions make a real impact, this is the place for you.
Why This Role Matters
If you want to be the person who owns the truth in the data, sets the standard for how we test, and gives leadership the evidence they need to make big calls, this is the role for you.
We’re a nine-figure DTC brand with data spread across Shopify, Amazon, subscriptions, email, and content, and teams already running tests across the customer journey. What we don’t have yet is one person who owns how we measure, test, and learn. That’s you.
You’ll lead analytics and experimentation for our Customer Journey & Revenue division: the metrics, the definitions, the testing program, the analysis, and the insights. When someone asks “is this working, and how do we know?”, you’re the one with the answer. Working alongside the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue, you’ll make sure every major decision is backed by numbers everyone trusts.
This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role with the freedom to build the functions the way they should be built.
What Success Looks Like
- Leadership trusts one set of numbers, and you’re the one who defined them
- Every test across the customer journey runs through a process you built, prioritized by impact
- Leaders make faster, more confident decisions because your insights are clear and reliable
- The impact of every major initiative is measured honestly, so we know what to scale and what to stop
What You’ll Own
The Numbers
- Own our core customer and revenue metrics and definitions (conversion, retention, LTV, revenue, and more) and the metrics catalog teams rely on
- Be the final check on data accuracy before it reaches decision-makers
- Translate business questions from leaders into clear requirements, queries, and data models
- Partner with our data engineering team to make sure the data platform captures what the business needs
- Build and evolve reporting and dashboards, starting with our customer journey dashboard
The Testing Program
- Own the cross-departmental experimentation roadmap, prioritized by revenue potential, traffic, and funnel drop-off
- Set the standards for how every test is proposed, designed, run, and judged, including a shared intake process and KPI framework
- Instrument the customer journey with the KPIs and data points needed to measure every stage
- Lead all results analysis (statistical significance, incremental revenue, win rate)
- Strengthen incoming test briefs by sharpening hypotheses and success metrics, and resolve conflicts when teams want to test the same page or audience
- Run the regular test review cadence and keep a shared library of learnings across teams
The Insights
- Be the trusted source of evidence behind major decisions: what’s happening, why, and what the data suggests
- Turn analysis into clear, confident recommendations for the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue and executive leadership
- Represent analytics and testing in cross-functional planning (dev sprints, content calendar, lifecycle) so data shapes decisions from the start
- Roll up your sleeves when needed, whether that’s writing a query, configuring a test, or building a report yourself
Your First 90 Days
- Partner with the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue to instrument the full journey with KPIs and data points
- Stand up a Phase 1 metrics catalog and get it adopted
- Deliver your point of view on where the journey is performing and where we’re leaving money on the table
- Launch the test prioritization process and run the first tests through it
What You Bring
Required
- 7+ years in analytics, BI, experimentation, CRO, or growth analytics, including leading a program or function across multiple teams
- Experience at a high-volume DTC e-commerce brand
- Experience with subscription or replenishment business models
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with Power BI
- Deep comfort with statistics, funnel analysis, attribution, and measuring revenue impact across multiple data sources
- Proven ownership of a testing program end to end: roadmap, prioritization model, KPI framework, and process
- A track record of strong partnerships across departments (content, lifecycle/CRM, development, design) without directly managing those teams
- Experience creating documentation, processes, and shared resources that teams actually use
- The ability to turn analysis into clear, concise recommendations for leadership, in writing and in person
Preferred
- Experience at a DTC e-commerce brand doing $100M+ in annual revenue
- Health, wellness, or supplement industry experience
- Experience with CRO/testing and analytics tools (A/B testing platforms, web analytics, session recording and heatmap tools)
- Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Amazon, Klaviyo, Recharge, and/or FullStory
- Experience partnering with data engineering on a data warehouse or data lake
- Experience building or scaling an analytics or experimentation team
Work From Home Requirements
- Up-to-date Mac or Windows computer with anti-virus protection
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and software
- Experienced using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, OneDrive)
