Head of Applied AI Engineering

ForceV Technologies is hiring a Head of Applied AI Engineering for a profitable, fast-growing healthcare AI company transforming how healthcare organizations use AI, automation, and proprietary data to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership opportunity for an engineering leader who can build production-grade AI systems, lead a high-performing team, and work directly with enterprise healthcare clients.

What You'll Do

• Build and lead a new Applied AI Engineering team, combining hands-on development with technical leadership.
• Develop production-ready agentic AI, LLM-powered applications, voice agents, and multimodal conversational systems.
• Build AI solutions for healthcare workflows, including scheduling, routing, and enterprise system integrations.
• Develop predictive machine learning models using large-scale proprietary datasets to support precision targeting and healthcare initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead Applied AI Engineers while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Partner with enterprise clients on technical strategy, solution design, pre-sales, and account expansion.
  

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with experience managing and developing engineering teams.
• Strong background in machine learning, data science, and production AI/ML systems.
• Experience building and deploying agentic AI systems and LLM-powered applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, AWS, and modern cloud-based AI infrastructure.
• Experience in healthcare, health systems, health insurance, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals.
• Startup experience and the ability to build and scale technology as a company grows.
• Strong communication, executive presence, and a practical, low-ego leadership style.
  

Role Details

• Location: Remote - United States (US time zones) or Israel
• Compensation: $300K–$365K base salary, plus performance bonus and equity
• Travel: Approximately 10–20%
• Visa transfers: Considered for eligible candidates
• Relocation: Not provided
