We’re looking for a Head of Brand Marketing who will lead the charge as we turn our brands into household names. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Head of Brand Marketing to lead the charge as we turn our brands into household names. The right candidate is a passionate builder, problem solver, and big thinker, someone with a pulse on how brands earn their way into both the cultural zeitgeist and the hearts and minds of customers. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO and serving as the steward of Salted’s brand story, helping shape how our brands come to life across markets, channels, and communities. Responsibilities: Lead the identity development and storytelling behind our brands, with a primary focus on our flagship brand, moonbowls. Ensure the consistency of our brand messaging and value proposition across all customer touchpoints. Work closely with the CEO and R&D team to guide our culinary roadmap from a brand and market opportunity perspective (eg, How do we best reflect our brand values in our culinary offerings? What are the culinary and cultural trends that map to our brand values and should be on our roadmap?) Develop and manage a holistic strategy for introducing our brands into new markets, including social media and community outreach. Develop high ROI opportunities to collaborate with digital influencers and build community engagement. Direct the editorial strategy across all brand channels, creating a cohesive narrative that boosts community interaction and achieves sales targets. (You will collaborate with a marketing team that is responsible for the actual deployment and management of our lifecycle marketing campaigns across email and text channels.) Oversee the external brand communications strategy, shaping public perception with general and targeted media outlets Develop and manage a program of focus groups such that we are talking to our customers regularly and incorporating their feedback into brand and culinary roadmaps. Partner directly with the CEO on high-level strategic planning and thought leadership initiatives. Who You Are 8–12+ years of relevant experience in brand marketing, communications, or brand strategy, ideally in consumer-facing industries such as food, lifestyle, CPG, or hospitality. Proven track record of making brands “pop” — launching breakthrough campaigns that build awareness, cultural relevance, and customer loyalty. A builder mentality with a deep passion for brand creation and storytelling. Strong communicator and creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail. Deep understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and storytelling across paid, owned, and earned channels. Experience driving measurable brand growth and equity in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and managing external agency partners.
