Head of Business Development – East Asia (Mandarin speaking)
Overview
A multinational online-trading broker is hiring a Head of Business Development for East Asia to drive growth in the Chinese market. You will expand strategic partnerships, optimise IB performance and lead a team of Business Development Managers.
Responsibilities
• Own IB performance and growth across China against revenue, volume and expansion targets
• Build and execute a growth plan for the Chinese market
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Business Development Managers
• Set and track departmental KPIs and drive accountability
• Secure new strategic partners and grow existing relationships
• Align with Support, Dealing, Payments, Product and Compliance teams
• Analyse partner performance and market metrics to grow market share
• Use data to inform strategy and improve performance
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or a related field
• Fluent Mandarin and English
• 5+ years in Business Development and IB management within Forex or Fintech, incl. 2–3 years leading BD teams
• Proven coaching and team development
• Strong high-level negotiation and stakeholder skills
• Advanced Excel for reporting and analysis
• Solid knowledge of forex, crypto or related trading markets
