Could you help shape the future of audiology while enabling more people to access outstanding hearing care? As Head of Clinical Performance – Audiology at Specsavers, you’ll play an influential role in shaping our clinical strategy and ensuring our services continue to evolve alongside advances in technology and changing healthcare needs. Your leadership will help our clinical teams perform at their best, strengthen clinical standards and ultimately create better experiences and outcomes for our customers and patients.
Leading the Audiology Clinical Performance team, you’ll set clear direction and work closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen clinical performance, governance and capability. You’ll help develop our audiologists and audiology professionals, improve clinical processes and career pathways, provide expertise around new services and technology, and build strong relationships with partners, professional organisations and regulatory bodies. It’s a role where you can combine your clinical expertise with strategic thinking to make a difference across our audiology business.
To thrive in this role, you’ll be a UK-registered audiologist with hands-on retail experience, bringing the credibility to influence senior leaders and operating boards. You’ll have proven people leadership experience, alongside experience of delivering commercially focused development for audiologists. You’ll be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, making confident decisions and building trusted relationships across different teams. Just as importantly, you’ll be approachable and collaborative, able to challenge constructively while keeping clinical quality and the customer at the heart of your decisions.
You’ll join a passionate and supportive area of Specsavers with a strong culture of helping each other succeed. You’ll inherit an experienced team based across the UK who are great at what they do, while having the opportunity to provide direction, develop capability and shape the future of clinical performance in audiology. The role is home-based, giving you flexibility over where you’re located, but regular travel across the UK and Ireland is an important part of the role, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling to spend time with your team, stakeholders and stores. If you’re looking for a senior clinical leadership opportunity where you can influence at scale, develop great people and make a meaningful difference to the future of audiology, we’d love to hear from you.
Interview will be taking place on the 19th of November.
