All about the role:
The Head of Cyber Security leads the Cyber Security domain across EMEA and APAC and serves as the regional security authority within the IT organization.
Operating across all Product and Technology domains, this role ensures security is embedded by design into products, platforms, engineering practices and operations.
The role acts as a strategic bridge between regional business priorities and the Group Cyber Security agenda.
Our EMEA & APAC IT operating model is designed around business value, product ownership, and strategic partnership with the business.
The role will report to the Group CISO (solid line) and the Regional CIO EMEA & APAC (dotted line).
It will be an active member of the EMEA & APAC IT Leadership Team.
What you'll do:
- Lead Cyber Security strategy and execution across EMEA and APAC.
- Drive security-by-design across all technology domains.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to manage cyber risk.
- Build strong security capabilities, governance and awareness.
- Ensure alignment with Group Cyber Security standards and policies.
- Oversee regional cyber resilience, vulnerability management and risk reduction initiatives.
- Lead security incident preparedness and coordination.

- You are a strategic cybersecurity leader with a strong track record of driving security transformation in complex, global organizations.
- You excel at influencing senior stakeholders and translating cybersecurity challenges into clear business priorities.
- You are passionate about building a strong security culture, fostering awareness, resilience, and accountability across the organization.
- You combine strategic vision with decisive leadership, remaining effective and composed when managing cyber risks and critical security incidents.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in enterprise cybersecurity, including the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies in large and complex organizations.
- Proven experience managing cyber risk within multinational and highly regulated business environments.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs and transformation initiatives.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of security architecture principles and secure technology design.
- Experience with security operations, incident response, threat management, and cyber resilience practices.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
- Ability to assess, prioritize, and communicate cyber risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at executive level.
