Head of Data & AI Consulting (Director)
London (hybrid) | £120,000 to £130,000 + bonus + benefits
We’re working with a data and technology consultancy on a senior hire to lead and grow their commercial data platforms practice.
This is a client-facing leadership role. You’ll be the person clients trust to turn their data and customer challenges into platforms that deliver real results, from the first conversation and POC through to delivery. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced Principal, Managing Consultant or Head of Data who is ready to step up into a Director role.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning the commercial data platform proposition, built on Snowflake, Databricks and modern cloud
- Leading presales on strategic opportunities: shaping solutions, writing proposals and pitching to senior stakeholders
- Running client discovery and fast POCs that prove value and lead to full builds
- Designing data platforms that power analytics, AI, customer intelligence and marketing activation
- Advising clients on data governance and operating models so platforms get adopted and scale
- Building relationships with Snowflake, Databricks and cloud partners to create joint pipeline
- Building and leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects and delivery leads
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a consultancy, systems integrator or technology services business, in a senior client-facing role
- A strong presales record: shaping deals, writing proposals and presenting to executives
- Strong technical credibility across modern cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake and Databricks
- Experience delivering platforms for customer data, personalisation or marketing activation (CDP, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar is a big plus)
- Experience leading teams of engineers and architects
- The confidence to advise CDOs, CIOs, CTOs and marketing leaders
What’s on offer
- £100,000 to £130,000 base plus performance bonus
- Pension up to 5% matched
- Private health, life insurance and a health and wellbeing plan
- 25 days holiday and a working abroad policy
- Hybrid working: around three days a week on client site or in the London office
If this sounds like a fit, or you know someone who’d be right for it, please get in touch or send your CV over.
