People Morphy is supporting one of our clients in hiring a Head of Delivery to build and lead the delivery function for a growing US-based paid-media agency.
This is a leadership role for someone who can build the systems, standards, and team that allow an agency to grow without relying on its owner to oversee every detail.
You will report directly to the owner and take responsibility for delivery quality across the agency. You will begin by learning the existing accounts, documenting what good account management looks like, and establishing quality-control and onboarding processes. As the business grows, you will lead and develop a team of Google Ads strategists.
This is not simply a senior Google Ads specialist role with a bigger title. You will remain technically hands-on, but your primary responsibility will be building a delivery operation that consistently produces excellent work through other people.
What You’ll Own- Establish clear standards for how Google Ads accounts should be structured, managed, reviewed, and reported.
- Audit existing accounts and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve consistency.
- Build standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and quality-control processes.
- Introduce a review process so work is checked before it reaches clients.
- Ensure account-management standards are followed consistently across the team.
- Lead an initial team of approximately 3–5 Google Ads strategists, with the function expected to grow toward 10 people.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members.
- Establish clear expectations, ownership, and performance standards.
- Conduct performance conversations and address capability gaps.
- Build a team that can operate independently rather than escalating every decision to the owner.
- Maintain strong hands-on knowledge of Google Ads and lead-generation campaigns.
- Audit an account and identify meaningful problems quickly.
- Challenge technical decisions, validate recommendations, and help strategists improve their work.
- Identify recurring performance issues and establish processes to prevent them.
- Balance technical oversight with leadership, training, and operational responsibilities.
You should expect to spend approximately 30–40% of your time on campaigns and technical work, with the majority focused on team leadership, hiring, training, and building the delivery function.
- Understand team capacity, account allocation, and workload.
- Identify when the agency can safely take on additional clients.
- Develop a capacity model to support planned growth.
- Create an onboarding process that helps new strategists become productive faster.
- Build reliable operating rhythms, including regular account reviews and delivery reporting.
- Take ownership of delivery-related client escalations.
- Identify problems before clients raise them.
- Communicate risks, decisions, and corrective actions clearly to the owner.
- Ensure issues are resolved through effective systems and team accountability.
- Reduce the owner's need to personally monitor the quality of every account.
- 8+ years of experience in paid media, with at least 2–3 years leading a delivery or account-management team within an agency.
- Strong, current, hands-on Google Ads knowledge.
- Experience leading multiple strategists or account managers and maintaining quality across their work.
- Proven experience building and implementing SOPs, quality-control processes, or onboarding systems.
- Experience hiring, training, developing, and managing people.
- The ability to combine technical judgement with sound people leadership.
- Strong spoken English and confidence handling delivery-related escalations with US-based stakeholders.
- Experience working with US clients.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently in a growing business where many processes still need to be built.
- Reliable internet and a suitable remote-work setup.
During your first 90 days, you will be expected to:
- Understand the agency's existing accounts and document their current state.
- Establish written standards for how accounts should be managed.
- Implement a quality-control step before work reaches clients.
- Build a structured onboarding path for new strategists.
- Establish a regular review process that identifies issues early.
- Begin developing a capacity model to support the agency's growth.
Longer term, success means the team can consistently deliver high-quality work, new hires can become productive without relying entirely on the owner, and delivery problems are caught and resolved before they escalate.
This role may not be suitable if:
- You prefer managing campaigns yourself rather than developing other people.
- Your experience is primarily individual account management without meaningful team leadership.
- You have managed people but cannot personally assess the technical quality of Google Ads work.
- Your leadership experience is limited to allocating tasks, running meetings, or chasing deadlines.
- You have not built processes that a team adopted and followed.
- You are uncomfortable taking responsibility for team outcomes, including mistakes.
- You are looking for a purely strategic or administrative position without technical involvement.
- Location: Remote, Pakistan
- Employment: Full-time; contract arrangement to be confirmed
- Working hours: US Central Time
- Compensation: PKR 400,000–800,000 per month, depending on experience and fit
- Initial screening call
- Structured interview covering leadership, coachability, technical judgement, and delivery experience
- Panel interview with the owner and hiring team
- Reference checks
