This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of a major national employability programme that supports young people to develop their skills, confidence and move into work. As Head of Delivery, you will oversee programme performance across your region, ensuring high-quality services that deliver meaningful outcomes for young people.

This fully funded role runs until June 2028 and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a major employability programme supporting young people across the UK.

We're looking for an experienced operational leader who can hit the ground running and bring a track record of leading large-scale services, programmes or contracts. You may come from employability, skills, education, welfare-to-work, youth services, the charity sector, local government or other customer-focused environments where performance, quality and outcomes are key.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and inspire delivery teams to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people
  • Drive performance against ambitious targets, KPIs and contractual requirements
  • Build strong relationships with partners, funders and key stakeholders
  • Use data and insight to improve performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Create a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates whose backgrounds, experiences and perspectives reflect the diverse communities and young people we serve. We welcome applications from people who may not have taken a traditional career path and believe diverse leadership helps us deliver better outcomes for young people.
