Who are we?

At Finastra, we’re a global leader in financial services software, dedicated to expanding access to financial services and shaping what’s next for the industry. Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries.

Finastra has signed an agreement to sell its Universal Banking business to Pollen Street Capital, with completion expected end 2026 / early 2027, subject to consultation and customary closing conditions. Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.

What will you contribute?

As Head of Enterprise Applications, you will lead the strategy, management and evolution of the enterprise applications that support our business.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for ensuring critical platforms including Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa and other enterprise applications are effectively managed, supported and continuously improved. You will also play a key leadership role as the organisation establishes its enterprise IT capability through the Universal Banking divestment.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Lead the management, support and continuous improvement of the organisation's enterprise application landscape.
  • Own the operational effectiveness and evolution of key platforms, with Salesforce as a major area of focus, alongside NetSuite, Coupa and other enterprise applications.
  • Build and lead the Enterprise Applications team, establishing clear ownership, priorities and ways of working.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the existing enterprise IT landscape and lead the transition of applications and supporting capabilities through the organisational divestment.
  • Ensure enterprise applications are reliable, scalable, secure and aligned with wider business requirements.
  • Oversee application changes, enhancements and upgrades, balancing business priorities with operational stability.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective application solutions.
  • Establish appropriate governance, support models and application management practices across the portfolio.
  • Manage relationships with relevant technology vendors and partners where required.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience leading or managing enterprise/business applications in a complex organisation.
  • Significant hands-on leadership experience with Salesforce, including managing its ongoing operation, support and evolution.
  • Experience managing broader enterprise applications, ideally including platforms such as NetSuite and Coupa.
  • Proven experience building, developing and leading application or technology teams.
  • Experience managing application change, enhancement, integration and operational support.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technology and business functions.
  • Experience navigating complex technology landscapes and organisational transformation.
  • Experience within financial services, fintech or another regulated environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of governance, security, resilience and compliance considerations surrounding enterprise applications.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience managing applications through a separation, divestment or significant technology transformation.
  • Exposure to enterprise application integration and data architecture.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and strategic technology partners.
  • Familiarity with SaaS application governance, lifecycle management and optimisation.
  • Experience establishing or transforming application support and operating models.
