Head of Financial Planning Analysis

Location: Dublin 15

We've partnered with a global and acquisitive tech company to recruit for a Head of FP&A. This is a high visibility role, reporting directly to an experienced CFO and Head of Data with subsequent commercial scope to make a genuine impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary partner to Group, Board and divisions in order to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders by understanding financial performance and cost drivers
• Attend and contribute to leadership and operational review meetings, providing real-time financial insight
• Design, build and implement complex financial models to tell a story of financial performance
• Ownership of budgets, forecasting and reforecasting process
• Challenge business decisions constructively, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood before commitments are made
• Analyse financial and operational data from multiple sources to surface trends, risks, and opportunities
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure consistency of approach and continuous improvement of processes and tools

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5 years' post-qualification experience in an FP&A, business-partnering or commercial finance role
• Experience in a tech/SaaS and/or PE-backed environment is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical mindset i.e. comfortable working with large datasets and building models that inform decision-making
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data to non-finance stakeholders
• High proficiency in Excel; experience with financial reporting or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
