Job Description

We're looking for a Head of Founder Success to lead the member experience for a U.S.-based company helping startup founders prepare for and successfully raise capital.

You'll work directly with founders across the U.S., UK, and Canada, primarily in CPG, Technology, and Healthcare, supporting businesses from pre-seed through Series A.

This role combines fundraising guidance, founder relationship management, retention, and community engagement. The ideal candidate understands the fundraising process firsthand, communicates at a highly professional level, and can independently guide founders toward their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Onboard new founders, understand their fundraising goals, and establish clear timelines and action plans.
  • Review and strategically edit pitch decks, one-pagers, and investor updates to strengthen their investment messaging.
  • Conduct regular founder check-ins, monitor progress, and proactively address challenges.
  • Manage membership renewals, upgrades, and retention.
  • Build an engaged founder community through introductions, discussions, and ongoing support.
  • Identify at-risk members and implement strategies to improve engagement and retention.
  • Handle challenging conversations professionally and independently.
  • Track founder progress, membership engagement, and retention metrics.
Requirements
  • Native-level or fully bilingual English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with startup founders, entrepreneurs, or investor relations.
  • Hands-on fundraising experience, either raising capital, supporting fundraising rounds, or working closely with investment processes.
  • Strong understanding of investor expectations, pitch decks, and startup fundraising from pre-seed to Series A.
  • Excellent strategic writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Highly Valued Experience

  • Startup accelerators, incubators, or founder support programs.
  • Venture capital, investment analysis, or investor relations.
  • Fractional CFO, startup finance, or fundraising advisory roles.
  • Customer success, membership retention, or community management within startup ecosystems.

Previous experience in CPG, Technology, or Healthcare is a plus, but not required.

Important: This is not a traditional customer support or community management role. Candidates must have practical experience working with founders and exposure to real fundraising or investment processes.
