Purpose of the Role: The Head of Group Accounting will lead a newly established, shared accounting function serving both the Odd Systems and TFL groups. This role owns the design and day-to-day operation of a unified accounting organization spanning Ukrainian and international entities, sets a single accounting policy and set of controls across the group, and drives the accounting workstream of the group's move to an automated, ERP-based environment (Odoo).

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the function — lead and develop a unified Group Accounting function spanning the Ukrainian and non-resident entities of both the Odd Systems and TFL groups
• Unify accounting policy — design and roll out a single, consistent accounting methodology across all group entities, replacing today's fragmented, entity-by-entity practices
• Manage the team — directly manage and coordinate three subdivisions: Ukrainian Companies Accounting, International (Non-Resident) Companies Accounting, and Payroll Accounting
• Enable intercompany accuracy — build unified, comparable accounting data to support correct allocation of shared costs and regular reconciliation and settlement of intercompany balances between the two groups
• Drive Odoo implementation — own the accounting workstream of the Odoo ERP rollout across both groups, from process design through go-live
• Manage non-resident tax risk — ensure proper local accounting and tax compliance for non-resident entities (currently in the US, Netherlands, and Estonia, with further jurisdictions expected)
• Develop people — recruit, develop, and mentor accounting team leads and staff, raising the overall maturity and proactivity of the function
• Partner across Finance — partner with Finance, Treasury, and Group Taxation leadership so accounting data reliably supports management reporting, budgeting, treasury operations, and group-level tax planning
• Report to leadership — report directly to the Finance Director on the performance and development of the Group Accounting function

Experience and skills we are looking for:

• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience, including at least 3 years managing multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction accounting operations
• strong command of Ukrainian accounting and tax rules (П(С)БО, Податковий кодекс) and working familiarity with international accounting frameworks (IFRS or equivalent) and at least one non-resident jurisdiction (US, EU, or similar)
• proven track record of building or standardizing an accounting function across multiple legal entities or business units — designing policy, unifying processes, and driving change
• experience with ERP implementation or migration; Odoo experience is a strong plus
• strong people-leadership skills: hiring, developing, and mentoring accounting team leads
• fluent English and Ukrainian
• comfortable working in a hybrid setup with regular in-office presence in Kyiv

• experience in a manufacturing, defense-tech, or export-controlled industry
• familiarity with the Diia City or Defence City tax regimes
• experience with intercompany accounting and cost allocation across affiliated company groups
