As Head of Groups & Packages, you'll create and scale a new business vertical from the ground up. You'll define the vision, shape the strategy, design the customer experience, build the commercial model, assemble the team, and launch products that redefine what group travel can be.

This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic leadership, commercial ownership, product innovation, and operational excellence in one role.

What You'll Do

Strategy & Business Development

• Define and execute the Groups & Packages business strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify target customer segments, market opportunities, and growth initiatives.
• Develop the value proposition for group travel, packaged holidays, special interest tours, corporate groups, and other relevant travel products.
• Build a multi-year roadmap for growth, profitability, and market expansion.

Department Creation & Operating Model

• Design and implement the Groups & Packages department structure.
• Establish workflows, governance, policies, and performance metrics.
• Create scalable operating procedures across multiple markets and business units.
• Define technology, CRM, reservation, and reporting requirements to support the function.

Product & Portfolio Development

• Develop a portfolio of group travel and package products.
• Establish pricing, contracting, margin management, and inventory strategies.
• Work with destination, airline, hotel, and ground-service partners to create compelling travel offerings.
• Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.

Commercial & Revenue Growth

• Build sales and distribution strategies for groups and packages.
• Develop partnerships and commercial relationships to drive demand.
• Establish revenue, profitability, and performance targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

Team Building & Leadership

• Define staffing requirements and organizational capabilities.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
• Foster collaboration across product, sales, operations, finance, marketing, and technology functions.
• Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

✔ 10+ years of leadership experience within travel, tourism, hospitality, tour operations, online travel, or related sectors.

✔ Proven track record of launching, building, or transforming a travel business, product line, or commercial function.

✔ Experience developing group travel, package holidays, tour operations, or similar travel products.

✔ Strong commercial, strategic, and operational capabilities.

✔ Demonstrated experience building teams, processes, and operating models from the ground up.

✔ Experience managing P&L performance and delivering revenue growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong network within travel suppliers, destinations, hotels, airlines, and distribution partners.
• Experience leading digital transformation and travel technology initiatives.
• MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.

Success Measures

Within the first 12–24 months, the role will be expected to:

✅ Launch a scalable portfolio of group and package travel products.

✅ Build and develop a dedicated team.

✅ Deliver measurable revenue and profitability growth.

✅ Create a sustainable platform for long-term expansion across markets.
