Head of Growth / Growth Lead

About Us Abacus School is an international EdTech project dedicated to developing intelligence and mathematical thinking in children aged 4-5 and above. Since 2015, we have been operating in educational centers and schools across 25 countries, as well as offering online programs worldwide. We are currently scaling our international educational business. Our marketing team is already in place, and we are now looking for a single, dedicated owner to lead and build out our entire Growth function. The Role Your primary mission will be to establish a high-performing Growth function and drive scalable, sustainable growth in new subscriber acquisition across our key markets (Romania, Russia, English-speaking countries, Germany, etc) and future expansion territories. What You’ll Do Lead the Growth Function: Manage the internal marketing team, external contractors, and the advertising budget, ensuring optimal allocation across all channels. Scale & Innovate: Scale proven, high-performing channels while cutting underperformers; identify, test, and launch new acquisition channels. CRM Strategy: Build and optimize CRM marketing to nurture leads and maximize lifetime value. Conversion Optimization: Plan and execute A/B tests on landing pages, offers, quizzes, lead forms, and entire sales funnels. Data-Driven Experimentation: Design, launch, and analyze growth experiments to continuously improve performance. Analytics Ownership: Own key metrics including CAC, CPL, ROMI, and conversion rates across all stages of the funnel. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales department to improve funnel efficiency and drive revenue. Team Building: Influence team structure, define KPIs for team members, and participate in hiring new specialists. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive Growth Roadmap that aligns with overall business objectives. What You Bring Proven experience as a Head of Growth, Growth Lead, or Head of Performance . Experience leading and managing a team of 10–15 people . Track record of managing advertising budgets of $30,000+ per month . Demonstrated success in scaling B2C marketing efforts. Strong hands-on experience in Performance Marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.). Experience launching new marketing channels and building scalable growth processes from the ground up. Deep understanding of marketing analytics and metrics: CAC, ROMI, CPL, and conversions . Experience managing both external contractors and internal teams. English proficiency at B2 level or higher (working language). Tech Stack Google Sheets Looker Studio Roistat (or similar end-to-end analytics systems) Google Analytics Meta Ads / Google Ads CRM systems Email & SMS marketing services Task management systems (e.g., Asana, Trello, etc.) Nice to Have Experience in the EdTech industry. Experience working across international markets . Proven experience building and scaling CRM marketing . Experience with subscription-based business models .
