Is this job info correct?

About Radiant As part of the Infrastructure team, we are seeking a highly strategic, technically fluent, and commercially astute Head of Infrastructure Procurement. In this role, you will own the end-to-end procurement strategy, engage with vendor ecosystems, and contribute to commercial negotiations for our highest-value capital investments. This includes high-density GPU clusters, high-performance network fabrics, storage, and our upcoming site connectivity. You will serve as the primary bridge between our internal Infrastructure teams and the world's leading technology OEMs (e.g. Nvidia, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Supermicro…) and storage vendors (Weka, Vast, DDN…). Your mission is to build the most effective and resilient supply chain to support the implementation of our Technology roadmap, optimize our clusters’ Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and mitigate global supply chain risks for massive, cutting-edge computing infrastructure deployments. What you'll do Lead the definition and execution of Radiant’s infrastructure procurement process (RFIs, RFPs…) to support the company’s commercial and engineering goals. Help develop and execute a multi-year global Infrastructure category strategy that supports the Technology roadmap set out by the CTO and CCO teams. Maintain real-time market intelligence regarding global equipment capacity, foundry constraints, and OEM manufacturing lead times to proactively secure component allocations ahead of deployment schedules. Develop, govern, and continuously update a standardized, multi-vendor price book across key OEMs and technology providers to serve as the foundational matrix for independent high-fidelity financial modeling, CapEx forecasting, and rapid Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations. Work directly with the Infrastructure Architects to translate complex technical blueprints and reference architectures into actionable commercial sourcing plans. Lead the structuring, issuance, and evaluation of high-stakes RFXs for capital-intensive infrastructure deployments scaling up to hundreds of millions of dollars. Orchestrate commercial and technical clarification sessions between internal stakeholders and vendors’ teams to validate responses (Bills of Materials, quotes, etc.) prior to purchase order execution. Support complex commercial negotiations encompassing multi-year volume discounts, hardware maintenance, software orchestration bundling, and global logistics. Work directly with Radiant’s Vendors Managers and Legal Counsels to author and finalize Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and other supporting contractual documents. Provide input to the Finance team to enable them to conduct exhaustive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling that factors in hardware depreciation, software licensing, power utilization efficiency (PUE), and data center cooling costs. Support the Vendor Management team and contribute to ongoing supplier performance and risk via robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs, steering committee meetings, and KPI tracking. Requirements Experience: 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or technical supply chain, with at least 3–5 years focused specifically on IT infrastructure. Domain Expertise: Understanding and/or willingness to learn more about the AI technology stack, including GPU acceleration, InfiniBand networking fabrics, NVLink, and advanced data center cooling mechanisms (Direct-to-Chip). Negotiation Track Record: Proven experience leading capital-intensive negotiations directly with major hardware OEMs (e.g., HPE, Dell, Supermicro). Analytical Rigor: Mastery of TCO modeling, financial analysis, and data-driven supplier evaluation methodologies. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical discipline is highly preferred. Communication: Exceptional executive presence; capable of translating highly technical architecture parameters into commercial leverage for the C-suite. Skills Nice to have Prior work experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC), AI infrastructure, data center hardware, or enterprise cloud infrastructure. Experience operating within hyperscale data center environments or elite AI research institutions. Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, MCIPS).
