📢 About the Role

The Head of Marketing will have end-to-end accountability for the marketing function at Hi Rasmus and serve as a close partner to the Chief Commercial Officer, CEO, Product, Clinical, Customer Success, and Sales teams.

This is a role for a leader who is equally comfortable developing the company narrative, reviewing a campaign creative, building an enterprise ABM strategy, shaping a product launch, working with PR, and sitting with Sales to understand why a deal is being won or lost.
You will be responsible for building a marketing organization that combines exceptional storytelling with measurable commercial impact.

We are looking for someone who understands that brand and growth are not separate disciplines. The strongest marketing makes people understand why a company matters and gives the right buyers a reason to act.

📍 Location: Fully remote - US
💼 Department: Marketing
🤝 Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer & Advocate for 1 Million Kids
Job Type: Full-time; Exempt
💰 Compensation: Range of $160,000 to $175,000 annually
🕜 Working Hours: Flexible within North American time zones

📌 What You’ll Own

Brand, Storytelling & Market Positioning

  • Own and evolve the Hi Rasmus brand, narrative, positioning, and voice.
  • Translate our mission, product differentiation, customer impact, and clinical vision into compelling stories for the market.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across every external touchpoint, including website, campaigns, events, press, social, sales materials, video, and executive communications.
  • Build a clear market narrative around why Hi Rasmus is different and where the autism care technology landscape is headed.
  • Maintain an exceptionally high bar for creative quality, messaging, and brand execution.

Growth, Demand Generation & Pipeline

  • Build a marketing strategy directly connected to company growth and revenue goals.
  • Partner closely with Sales and RevOps to develop measurable pipeline-generation programs.
  • Build and scale enterprise-focused account-based marketing strategies.
  • Develop integrated campaigns across paid, organic, content, events, partnerships, outbound, and community.
  • Establish clear attribution, funnel metrics, and reporting that connect marketing investment to commercial outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate which channels deserve additional investment and which should be stopped.

Go-to-Market & Product Marketing

  • Partner with Product, Clinical, Research, Sales, and Customer Success to develop strong go-to-market strategies for new products and capabilities.
  • Establish clear positioning and messaging for our platform, products, and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Develop buyer personas, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and customer proof points.
  • Make sure Sales can clearly articulate why Hi Rasmus wins.
  • Turn customer insight and market intelligence into better positioning, campaigns, and inform product strategy.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Build a content engine that strengthens both brand authority and commercial demand.
  • Develop a differentiated point of view on autism care technology, clinical impact, AI, outcomes, access, and the future of care delivery.
  • Partner with internal clinical and research leaders to translate deep expertise into accessible, credible, and compelling content.
  • Build executive thought leadership for key members of the Hi Rasmus leadership team.
  • Along with the team, work cross-departmentally to develop customer stories, research narratives, case studies, white papers, and other proof that strengthens market credibility.

Communications & PR

  • Own corporate communications and public relations strategy.
  • Lead high-visibility company announcements, partnerships, funding communications, product launches, and media opportunities.
  • Serve as the internal quality bar for messaging associated with significant company moments.
  • Develop strong relationships with relevant media, analysts, industry organizations, and external partners.
  • Prepare executives for media interviews, conference appearances, and other public-facing opportunities.

Community, Events & Advocacy

  • Build on Hi Rasmus’s strong community and advocacy foundation.
  • Develop programs that elevate clinicians, customers, parents, researchers, and other voices within the autism care community.
  • Create a thoughtful event and conference strategy tied to company objectives.
  • Strengthen referral, ambassador, advocacy, and customer-marketing programs.
  • Ensure community initiatives remain authentically connected to Hi Rasmus’s mission rather than becoming traditional promotional programs.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Hi Rasmus marketing team.
  • Create clear ownership, accountability, priorities, and performance expectations across the function.
  • Evolve the team and capabilities required for the company’s next stage.
  • Develop the right mix of internal talent, agencies, contractors, and technology.
  • Build a culture of high standards, creativity, speed, accountability, and collaboration through clear feedback, coaching, trust, and team growth.
  • Own the marketing budget and make disciplined investment decisions.

🎯 What Success Looks Like

In your first year, we would expect you to:
  • Establish a clear and differentiated Hi Rasmus brand and category narrative.
  • Build a trusted marketing partnership with Sales that contributes measurable pipeline.
  • Raise the quality and consistency of every major external company communication.
  • Create a repeatable enterprise ABM and demand-generation engine.
  • Develop a strong GTM process for product launches.
  • Build a content and thought-leadership strategy that strengthens Hi Rasmus’s authority in the market.
  • Create clear marketing metrics and operating rhythms.
  • Develop a marketing organization capable of supporting the next several stages of company growth.
  • Help make Hi Rasmus one of the most recognized and trusted brands in autism care technology.

🧑‍💻 Who You Are

You are a strategic marketing leader who combines commercial instinct, exceptional storytelling, and strong creative judgment.

You likely have:
  • 8+ years of progressive B2B SaaS marketing experience, including meaningful leadership responsibility.
  • Experience helping scale a growth-stage SaaS company.
  • Strong experience marketing to enterprise buyers, in addition to SMB.
  • Demonstrated success building marketing programs that generate measurable pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience with ABM, demand generation, product marketing, content, brand, and GTM.
  • Experience leading teams and developing strong marketers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong visual and creative judgment, even if you are not a designer yourself.
  • Experience managing executive communications, PR, or significant company announcements.
  • The ability to move fluidly between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where the organization is still building processes as it scales.

Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, autism care, education, clinical SaaS, or another mission-driven industry is valuable but not required.

We care more about your ability to deeply understand a complex market and translate it into a compelling story than whether you have marketed to this exact industry before.

The Kind of Leader We’re Looking For

You have high standards without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

You create clarity and trust, give candid and caring feedback, and develop talented people through coaching, meaningful ownership, and clear expectations.

You know what excellent work looks like and are willing to challenge work that is not there yet.

You are intellectually curious and spend time with customers, Sales, Product, and the market rather than building marketing strategy from a spreadsheet.

You understand numbers and care deeply about pipeline, but you do not reduce marketing to lead generation.

You have strong taste.

You can look at a campaign, webpage, keynote, press release, customer story, or product launch and recognize whether it feels distinctive, compelling, and worthy of the company behind it.

You are comfortable working closely with executives and are willing to push back when the story, strategy, or execution can be better.

And you are motivated by the opportunity to build something meaningful.

Why Hi Rasmus

Hi Rasmus is at an unusual moment.

We have proven product-market fit, significant customer adoption, strong growth, and the resources to invest aggressively in what comes next.

At the same time, we still operate with the ambition, speed, and mission orientation of a founder-led company.

The opportunity for this person is not to inherit a mature marketing machine.

It is to build one.

And to build it around a company whose success ultimately means helping more clinicians, more families, and more children access better care.
