About Belfry

At Belfry, we're reshaping how the $50 billion security officer services industry in the U.S. operates. Our mission is simple: empower back-office teams and officers in the field to achieve more through our operating system.

In just five years, we've become the system hundreds of security firms nationwide run their entire business on, from hiring and client management to operations, payroll, billing, and accounting. We're growing fast, we're winning a market that's barely been touched by modern software, and we're now moving up-market to serve the largest security organizations in the country.

The Role

Belfry is looking for a Head of Marketing to build and lead our marketing function. You'll report directly to our CEO, own the marketing number, and lead a small team that already includes a Demand Generation Manager and a Product Marketing Manager, with room to grow it as we do.

You'll set the go-to-market strategy, decide where we spend, and be accountable for marketing-sourced pipeline and closed revenue. You'll establish Belfry as the default choice for security companies nationwide, from the 50-officer regional firm to the national enterprise, and you'll build the systems, the reporting, and the team that make that repeatable.

This is a player-coach role. You'll set the strategy and manage the team, but you'll also be in the tools, in the customer calls, and in the copy. We're looking for someone who has built a marketing function before, who's run a channel end-to-end with their own hands, and who brings a point of view.

What You'll Own

Strategy & Pipeline

  • Set the marketing strategy, annual plan, and budget, and own the marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue targets that go with them.

  • Decide the channel mix across paid media, email, events, gifting, ABM, SEO, and the website. Prioritize by evidence and expected impact, and kill what doesn't earn its place.

  • Build the account-based motion with sales: tiering, intent signals, and coordinated outreach to the accounts that matter most, including the enterprise segment we're moving into.

Team

  • Lead, coach, and grow the marketing team. You'll decide what to hire next and when.

  • Set the operating cadence: goals, weekly reviews, and a launch and campaign calendar the whole company can see.

Brand, Positioning & Content

  • Own how Belfry shows up in the market. Work with our PMM to sharpen positioning and messaging, and make sure it's consistent across the website, ads, sales decks, PR, and product.

  • Set the content strategy: what we publish, for whom, and why, from customer stories and industry data to thought leadership from our founders.

  • Run our presence at the industry events and associations where security operators gather.

Marketing Operations & Analytics

  • Define the KPIs and build the full-funnel reporting, in HubSpot and GA4, that ties every program back to pipeline and closed revenue, not just leads. Report on it to the executive team and the board.

  • Own the martech stack with RevOps. Current stack: HubSpot, Instantly, GA4, Microsoft Clarity, and Search Console. You'll have the flexibility to add modern tools, including AI, and improve what's there.

  • Define the lead handoff with sales: qualification criteria, SLAs, and the feedback loop that tells us which leads actually close.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Partner with sales on pipeline, with customer success on expansion and customer marketing, and with product on launches and in-product growth.

  • Be the voice of the market inside Belfry: what prospects are asking for, what competitors are doing, and where we should go next.

Success Metrics

  • Marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline and closed revenue against plan

  • Inbound demo request volume and lead-to-opportunity conversion

  • Cost per opportunity and marketing spend as a share of new ARR

  • Enterprise pipeline from the account-based motion

  • Team performance: hiring, retention, and the output of the people you lead

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including 3+ years leading demand generation or growth and at least one stint building or rebuilding a marketing function at a growth-stage company (Series A to C)

  • Experience managing and developing a team, and the judgment to know what to hire next

  • A revenue-first instinct. You've owned a pipeline number, you know how to attribute it, and you've reported it to a CEO or a board.

  • Depth in one or two growth channels (paid acquisition, email and lifecycle, ABM, SEO, or website and conversion optimization) and working knowledge of the rest

  • Strong point of view on positioning and content. You can write, and you can tell when something isn't working.

  • Experienced in setting up the tools, workflows, and reporting that make marketing operations scalable

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias toward shipping over spec'ing

  • Hands-on experience with or advanced interest in pursuing AI-driven workflows

  • Vertical SaaS experience preferred, especially selling to operations-heavy, field-based industries

Benefits

  • A small, high-ownership team that's actually building something new.

  • Real equity in a high-growth start-up, with a clear path to a meaningful outcome.

  • Fully covered medical, dental, and vision.

  • Unlimited PTO, actually used, plus 11 paid holidays.
