Tasks
- Lead and develop the central PS Division Incident Management team and take over as Head of Incident Management by mid-2027.
- Manage serious incidents, complaints, deviations and claims across the global PS business.
- Develop and coordinate strategies for risk mitigation, claims management and incident prevention.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide risk reporting and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate investigations and collaborate with global operations, Quality Management, Legal, certification bodies, accreditation bodies and authorities.
- Support high-risk projects and drive preventive measures based on incident and risk analysis.
- Protect the TÜV SÜD brand by managing trademark misuse, counterfeiting and related legal actions.
- Coordinate global quality assurance activities, including comparison tests for high-risk products.
Qualifications
- University degree in a technical discipline, engineering, law or a comparable field.
- Strong analytical and comprehension skills, particularly in technical matters.
- Solid legal knowledge, particularly in contract law, trademark law, procedural law, ProdSG and MDR.
- Expert-level knowledge of accreditation and certification, ideally covering consumer, commercial and medical devices.
- Strong risk awareness and ability to assess complex technical, legal and business issues.
- Resilience, perseverance, assertiveness and a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- Additional language skills are an advantage
