About Us

We’re building Fractional Jobs - the talent network for fractional executives. We work with tech startups and SMBs, mostly in the USA, and help them hire fractional leaders for part-time roles, across 10+ different function areas, including fractional CMOs, CFOs, CTOs, and more.

We have 50,000 fractional leaders in our network today, and are adding about 3,000 a month. We’re profitable, with our founder based in the USA, a couple of developers around the world, and a small recruiting/ops team in the Philippines and USA.

About the Work

Taylor, our founder, has been running recruiting since day 1. We’re working with more clients than ever before, and need to scale our recruiting operations to meet this demand. We’re looking for a Head of Recruiting to take over the end-to-end matchmaking process from Taylor, and do it even better than him.

Specifically, you’ll:

• Properly scope new roles, develop the strategy, and calibrate with Taylor
• Oversee candidate shortlisting from our candidate network for our clients. You’ll typically be working on 5 - 10 roles at a time
• Manage a small team of screeners and sourcers
• Screen applications and conduct sourcing yourself, as needed
• Own candidate communications, and co-own client relationships as well
• Own metrics like placement rate, time to hire, and more

Our team works remotely, asynchronously, and autonomously. There are very few internal meetings, and nor will you do screening calls with the candidates, or calls with clients.

About You

You must meet all the following criteria to be considered:

• 10+ years of recruiting experience, including extensive experience screening and sourcing candidates yourself
• Recruited US-based tech startups, focused on US-based talent
• Managed recruiting teams of screeners and sourcers
• Managed client relationships before, either inside a recruiting/staffing firm, or your own recruiting consultancy
• Recruited candidates for a wide variety of roles typical in tech startups and SMBs (not just engineering, or just marketing, etc.)
• You’re already using the latest AI tools in your daily work
• You can be based anywhere in the world, but must offer significant overlap with USA Eastern Time

Nice-to-haves:

• Executive recruiting experience
• Owned matchmaking / shortlisting for other talent marketplaces
• You’ve run your own recruiting consultancy, with real clients

Expected Compensation: $4,000 - $5,000 / month + bonuses, depending on experience and seniority level
