As part of the Care Enablement organization, the Head of Supply Chain Italy plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient, reliable, and compliant flow of products and services across our operations. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics activities, driving operational excellence, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and outstanding patient care.

The role is based in Italy and reports within the EMEA Supply Chain organization.

Goal of the Function

The Head of Supply Chain Italy is responsible for leading all local logistics and supply chain activities, including warehousing, transportation, planning, inventory management, and replenishment operations. The role drives performance, efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement while fostering a strong team culture and building effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, logistics providers, and global supply chain teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for all local Logistics activities (Warehouse Management, Transportation, Planning, Replenishment to the Clinics, etc).
• Lead and manage the local Supply Chain team, including the stakeholder management.
• Focusing on improvement on all local Logistics operations, demand planning, inventory, 3PL management.
• Actively involve in Logistics 3PL and Provider relationship management
• Lead Local Supply Chain projects to drive expanded capabilities, improve the efficiency of existing processes and enable cost reduction.
• Systematic review of all inventories and stock levels.
• Responsible for local Supply Chain KPIs including 3PL performance, and inventory control.
• Responsible for Logistics Budget in addition, open to financial improvement, standardized and cost transparent.
• Lead monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) process within the company,
• Participate demand and budget planning meetings with sales, marketing, financial control teams to analyse forecasts,
• Ensuring compliance with Local & Global guidelines and responsible of local and Global Quality management (GDP/ADR etc)
• Create and maintain teamwork and team spirit in the local logistic team and within Cluster 1 and EMEA SC colleagues.
• Secure Logistics employees’ occupational health and Safety regulations within company
• Represent company against local Logistics state authorities, customers or any other stakeholder.
• Coordinate information flow between Global Supply Chain teams, involve in projects if necessary.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured, results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and functions.
• High level of accountability, self-organization, resilience, and positive leadership energy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP (MM Module).
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

• The indicative annual gross salary for this position ranges between €50,000 and €55,000, in addition to a variable bonus linked to performance targets and a company car.
