Head of Technology Change & Communication

The Head of Technology Change & Communication is responsible for driving organizational change, stakeholder engagement, and communication across the Technology organization.

The Technology organization was recently created by bringing together Global IT, Innovation, and Product Development into one integrated function. A key focus of this role will be helping leaders and employees successfully navigate this transition through effective change management, communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational alignment.

In addition, the role will lead change and communication initiatives supporting broader technology programs, including digital transformation, AI adoption, innovation initiatives, and evolving ways of working across the organization.

Acting as a trusted advisor, coach, and change leader, the successful candidate will foster engagement, build organizational readiness, and support the cultural and behavioral shifts required to maximize the value of technology investments and transformation initiatives.

Change Management & Organizational Transformation

• Lead change management for major Technology initiatives, including organizational integration, AI adoption, digital transformation, platform rollouts, and operating model changes.
• Define and implement change management frameworks, methodologies, and governance.
• Assess organizational readiness, identify change impacts, and proactively address adoption barriers and resistance.
• Build organizational change capabilities and foster a culture of adaptability, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Act as an organizational coach and trusted advisor, supporting leaders in navigating transformation and leading teams through change.

Communication Strategy

• Own and drive the Technology communication strategy aligned with business priorities and transformation objectives.
• Develop compelling narratives that communicate the vision, value, and progress of Technology initiatives and organizational transformation.
• Translate complex technology, innovation, product development, and AI topics into clear, compelling messages for different audiences.
• Lead executive communications, CTO messaging, organization-wide campaigns, and stakeholder-specific communication plans.
• Develop communication approaches that increase awareness, engagement, and confidence in transformation initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Communications, and Transformation Offices to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with leaders, teams, and key stakeholders across Technology and the wider organization.
• Support leaders in understanding organizational dynamics, employee concerns, and barriers to adoption.
• Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, leadership discussions, and stakeholder engagements that strengthen alignment, commitment, and readiness for change.
• Foster collaboration and alignment across IT, Innovation, Product Development, and business functions.
• Foster trust, engagement, and active participation to ensure sustainable adoption of new technologies, processes, and ways of working.

AI Adoption & Value Realization

• Lead the people side of AI adoption initiatives and AI-enabled ways of working across the organization.
• Develop strategies that increase awareness, understanding, confidence, and engagement with AI solutions.
• Integrate change management into AI Board activities, project and portfolio governance (e.g., SPM), and Technology transformation initiatives.
• Define and track adoption KPIs, including usage, engagement, satisfaction, and business impact.
• Measure and communicate adoption outcomes and value realization to key stakeholders.

• Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Human Resources, Change Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational change management, internal communications, transformation, or organizational development.
• Experience supporting AI adoption and AI-driven transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Experience creating content with AI tools, developing presentations in PowerPoint with Microsoft Copilot, and managing Viva Engage.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives.
• Understanding of IT operating models, Agile and product organizations; ServiceNow knowledge is an advantage.
• Data-driven mindset with experience measuring adoption, engagement, and business value realization.
• Prosci Change Management, CSM, SAFe, or similar certifications are considered a plus.
