  • Clearly explain non-conformances and provide constructive feedback where improvements or additional evidence are required.
  • Provide Health & Safety advice and guidance to customers.
  • Produce clear, detailed and accurate assessment reports.
  • Deliver excellent levels of customer service throughout the assessment process.
  • Manage your workload while meeting expectations around productivity, accuracy, consistency and assessment quality.
  • Work collaboratively with a wider team of Health & Safety professionals and contribute to continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to be successful

You’ll have a strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice, alongside experience applying your knowledge within a workplace environment.

You must have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 3) or an equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
  • TechIOSH membership or eligibility to obtain TechIOSH membership.
  • Minimum 2 years' UK Health & Safety experience gained within construction, engineering, manufacturing, facilities management, utilities, or another workplace environment.

  • Contractor-facing or customer-facing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to explain Health & Safety and compliance requirements clearly to customers and contractors.
  • The ability to effectively manage your workload while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Experience within construction, engineering, facilities management, manufacturing or utilities would be particularly relevant.
