Health & Safety Manager

Role Description The Health & Safety Manager at Fintech News BD is a part-time, remote role responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures for the organization’s remote and, where relevant, on-site operations. This role involves conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards, and advising leadership on best practices. The Health & Safety Manager will design and deliver safety training, update emergency response plans, and ensure that safety guidelines are clearly communicated to all team members. The role also includes reviewing work processes, recommending improvements, and coordinating with external experts or regulatory bodies when needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with experience applying them in office or remote work environments.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training, including developing and delivering training materials and sessions.
• Candidates should possess NEBOSH or equivalent recognized health and safety certification.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in policy development, incident reporting and investigation, and continuous improvement of safety programs.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting are essential.
• A relevant degree or diploma in occupational health, safety management, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.
