Project Scope
We are seeking a Healthcare Compliance Assessment Program Manager / Consultant to support compliance leadership in structuring and executing practice compliance assessments across a physician network technology initiative in Hawaii. This role supports scheduling, tracking, evidence gathering, issue logging, and status reporting — escalating regulatory interpretation questions to client compliance leadership rather than resolving them independently. Note: the precise scope of this role is provisional and may evolve; the final shape (program management, hands-on assessment, or hybrid) will be confirmed as the engagement develops. Consultants will work as integrated members of the project team and may represent the initiative with practices under approved titles and communications. This is a consulting engagement — the contractual relationship remains with Quoris, not the end client.
Position Summary
This is an organized, execution-focused role for a healthcare IT or compliance professional who understands how compliance assessments work in ambulatory practice environments and can keep a complex, multi-site effort on track. You will partner closely with compliance leadership, coordinate across the assessment team, and ensure that findings are documented, tracked, and escalated appropriately. Regulatory interpretation and formal audit authority rest with client leadership — your job is to keep the process moving cleanly and surface issues early.
Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance leadership in structuring and scheduling practice compliance assessments across assigned physician practices and community health organizations.
- Track assessment progress across multiple sites, maintaining accurate status logs and issue registers.
- Coordinate evidence gathering and ensure documentation is complete, organized, and accessible to compliance leadership.
- Prepare clear status summaries and progress reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Escalate regulatory interpretation questions and compliance findings to PSW compliance leadership — do not resolve independently.
- Communicate professionally with practice managers and staff to facilitate scheduling and information gathering.
- Identify process gaps, scheduling risks, or documentation inconsistencies and flag them proactively.
- Adapt as the role scope is refined — this engagement may shift between program management, hands-on assessment support, or a hybrid of both.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare compliance assessment, compliance program management, or health IT program management in an ambulatory or physician practice setting.
- Organized executor — skilled at managing schedules, trackers, issue logs, and documentation across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable reporting status to both operational and executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ambulatory practice environments and the realities of working across independent or community-based practices.
- Comfortable operating in a role where scope may evolve and direction comes from client compliance leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-site compliance assessments or healthcare regulatory readiness programs.
- Familiarity with Hawaii physician practices, IPAs, or community health organizations.
- Background in HIPAA, HITECH, or ambulatory quality and compliance frameworks.
- Prior experience in a hybrid PM/assessor capacity.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Detail-oriented program manager who thrives on bringing structure to complex, multi-site efforts.
- Knows when to escalate and when to execute — not looking to make regulatory calls above their lane.
- Hawaii-based candidates or those with direct Hawaii healthcare experience are strongly preferred.
- Calm, professional, and adaptable in an environment where role definition is still taking shape.
- Trusted by both the consulting team and client compliance leadership to keep the process honest and on track.
When working with Quoris as a consultant, you are eligible for competitive benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, and a great culture/working environment.
