This role involves analyzing healthcare data, generating actionable insights, supporting Prompt's enterprise clients on the Prompt BI platform, and spearheading the sales efforts for the Prompt BI platform. We aren't enthralled with patting ourselves on the back every day, but it does feel good :) Responsibilities: Internal: Serve as the primary architect and SME for Metabase (our primary BI tool), developing and maintaining complex dashboards to track KPIs. Analyze and interpret specialized healthcare data, with a heavy focus on clinical and financial healthcare reporting (e.g., claims data, denial rates, therapist utilization, and clinical outcomes). Perform rigorous data validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all internal and external reporting. Partner directly with multiple departments to create recurring dashboards that track company-wide progress toward strategic initiatives and financial KPIs. Centralize data from multiple sources (CRM, HelpDesk, Task Management, Pendo) to build comprehensive performance dashboards for Customer Success and other service leadership teams. External: Act as the technical Data SME during sales cycles for the Prompt BI platform, conducting high-level technical demos, identifying expansion opportunities, and partnering with Account Executives and CSMs to win deals. Support enterprise, mid-market, and small-market clients by providing expert-level guidance, training, and tailored reporting solutions on the Prompt BI platform. Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with client leadership, translating their clinical and financial business needs into technical data solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. 3–5+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Solutions Analyst within the healthcare software or services industry. Deep fluency in the healthcare industry, specifically around Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), outpatient rehabilitation, and healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA). Expert-level proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools. Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, reporting, and data manipulation. Strong familiarity with Excel and supporting BI/data tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in a customer-facing, solutions-oriented, or pre-sales environment. Ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored, data-driven solutions. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
