Salary: $90,000.00 Annually

The healthcare industry is undergoing significant change. Provider organizations, payers, and healthcare technology vendors need more than data. They need someone who can make sense of what is happening, determine what matters, and help them decide what to do next.

As a Healthcare Insights Director, you will engage directly with provider, payer, and healthcare technology executives, develop deep expertise in a healthcare technology market, uncover meaningful patterns in research and market activity, and create insights that influence strategic decisions across the industry.

This is not a traditional reporting or analytics role. It is a role for someone who can connect information, identify what matters, develop a point of view, and communicate complex ideas in a way that drives action.

We hire across multiple levels based on experience, expertise, and demonstrated impact.

What You’ll Do

Build trusted relationships and understand the market

  • Engage directly with healthcare executives and industry leaders to understand their priorities, challenges, experiences, and opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews and research conversations with provider and payer leaders, asking thoughtful questions and probing beyond the initial answers to uncover meaningful insights.
  • Build and maintain a network of healthcare executives and subject-matter experts.
  • Identify signals and trends that indicate where the market is headed and what leaders need to know.

Turn evidence into insight

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative research to identify the themes, patterns, and implications that matter most.
  • Look beyond what the data says to determine why it matters and what leaders should do about it.
  • Develop compelling narratives, points of view, and recommendations from complex research.

Influence healthcare executive decision making

  • Engage directly with healthcare executives and other senior leaders to understand their priorities, challenges, and perspectives.
  • Present findings and facilitate conversations with C-level audiences.
  • Use evidence and expertise to challenge assumptions, shape thinking, and help leaders consider new approaches.
  • Build credibility as a trusted advisor for the executives you work with.

Lead thinking in a healthcare market

  • Develop deep expertise in an assigned healthcare market and become a recognized internal and external authority on what is happening and why.
  • Track market trends, emerging technologies, vendor strategies, and changing customer needs.
  • Identify important questions the market needs answered and help shape the research and content needed to answer them.
  • Develop and evolve a clear point of view on where the market is headed and what it means for healthcare organizations and technology vendors.

Create content that drives action

  • Develop reports, executive briefings, frameworks, and other deliverables that make complex topics easy to understand and compelling to act on.
  • Translate research into stories and visual narratives that resonate with executive audiences.

What You Bring

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication
  • Executive presence
  • Influence and collaboration
  • Curiosity and market awareness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ownership and initiative
  • Strong execution
  • Collaborative leadership

Preferred Experience

  • Typical candidates have 3–6+ years of experience in consulting, research, healthcare strategy, market/competitive intelligence, management consulting, industry analysis, corporate/business strategy, or direct healthcare provider or payer experience.
  • Experience working with senior or executive stakeholders.
  • Experience developing executive presentations, reports, strategic recommendations, or similar high-impact deliverables.
  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare IT, payer strategy, or a related market preferred, but not required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred fields include business, healthcare administration, public health, economics, communications, strategy, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, or MPH is a plus, but not required.

The salary range for this role starts at $90,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
