This recruiter will own and manage a dedicated portfolio of requisitions aligned to assigned service lines and specialty offerings, with responsibility for sourcing, screening, candidate management, offer negotiation, and hiring activities from requisition intake through close.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience recruiting Epic professionals and understands the specialized healthcare IT talent market. Experience recruiting Epic Payer talent is preferred, but not required. This individual should be comfortable partnering directly with business and delivery leaders, translating project demand into targeted sourcing strategies, and building relationships with highly specialized candidates in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle recruiting for an assigned portfolio of Epic-focused requisitions, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and hire.

• Develop targeted sourcing strategies and maintain pipelines of Epic and healthcare IT professionals across implementation, optimization, application, technical, advisory, and project leadership skill sets.

• Source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.

• Conduct recruiter screens to assess Epic/healthcare IT experience, project background, consulting fit, availability, compensation expectations, and alignment with client and service line needs.

• Partner closely with Service Line Leaders, Client Relationship Executives, Staffing, and other business leaders to understand demand, required skills, timing, and hiring priorities.

• Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle, including communication, interview preparation, feedback, expectations, and offer negotiation.

• Maintain accurate and timely candidate, requisition, and hiring activity in Workday and Bullhorn.

• Balance multiple active requisitions and pipelines while maintaining responsiveness, speed, quality, and a high-touch candidate experience.

• Track recruiting activity and key metrics, including pipeline health, candidate quality, speed to submit, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance.

• Build long-term relationships with healthcare IT talent to support both immediate hiring needs and anticipated future demand.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare, Technology, or a related field preferred.

• Required: 2+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, preferably within healthcare IT, healthcare consulting, technology consulting, or a similarly specialized talent market.

• Required: Demonstrated experience recruiting Epic professionals, including familiarity with Epic applications, certifications, implementation/optimization roles, and Epic consulting talent. Epic Payer recruiting experience is preferred, but not required.

• Demonstrated experience independently sourcing, screening, managing, and closing candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of healthcare IT and the technical, functional, project leadership, and consulting talent required to support healthcare organizations.

• Ability to understand and differentiate Epic applications, certifications, project roles, implementation experience, and related healthcare technology skill sets.

• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills, particularly with passive and niche talent.

• Ability to manage a dedicated requisition load and prioritize multiple searches in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

• Strong communication and relationship-management skills with candidates, recruiters, staffing partners, and business leaders.

• Comfort discussing compensation, availability, project expectations, travel, and other employment considerations with candidates.

• Experience with ATS/HRIS and sourcing platforms; Workday, Bullhorn, and LinkedIn Recruiter experience is preferred.

• Commitment to accurate documentation, timely follow-up, and a high-quality candidate experience.

For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms. This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
