We serve clients across the United States and internationally and offer three core services: Resume writing Cover letter writing LinkedIn profile writing, optimization, and installation Position Summary The resume writer will create strategy-driven career marketing documents—resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles—highlighting our clients' skills, experience, and accomplishments. This person will have a keen eye for detail and be very comfortable conducting independent research on each client's job function within healthcare to ask role-specific questions, write from an above-average understanding of healthcare, and produce high-quality career marketing documents. Job Responsibilities · Rewrite or write tailored resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles from scratch that highlight each client’s strengths, skills, and qualifications · Write cover letters to introduce the applicant and highlight compelling accomplishments that demonstrate why they are qualified for their target role · Craft engaging LinkedIn profile content, create branded profile banners, utilize targeted strategies to increase search engine optimization (SEO), and install all content for clients · Use client-submitted data, phone conversations, independent research, and company-provided resources to develop accurate, industry-aligned, error-free, high-quality documents with powerful written content · Interact directly with clients via email, in collaboration software, and over the phone · Conduct Strategy Calls with clients to clarify their work experience, education, skills, and qualifications to create targeted resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles that accurately reflect their qualifications · Manage client relationships, including answering questions about the writing process or their resume positioning strategy via phone, email, and other forms of communication Job Requirements The ideal candidate for this role: Someone who understands and has experience with both the technical aspects of resume writing and the broader process of helping people advance their careers Enjoys doing independent research and learning about different healthcare career paths, job functions, and specializations to be conversant on client Strategy Calls, accurately interpret niche-specific information, and apply industry terminology appropriately Has the ability to ask the right questions to better understand a client's professional work history, motivations, skills, and accomplishments to develop accurate and effective career marketing documents Is motivated to deliver an exceptional client experience with a high degree of professionalism Possesses superb time management and organization skills and is comfortable juggling multiple projects with competing deadlines and delivering on time every time Is an excellent written communicator with sound judgment who can distill information, write succinctly, and not lose the essence of the message that needs to be conveyed Is technologically savvy and not intimidated by unfamiliar software tools—we use various software routinely, and you must be comfortable navigating between them and learning new processes Is coachable and open to learning and applying our proprietary framework behind writing impactful healthcare resumes Required Qualifications Experience: Resume writing experience Education: Bachelor's degree Work Experience: Professional working experience Software/Technology: Strong command and access to Microsoft Word; access to a computer and reliable internet service Call Availability: Must be available for a 60-minute client strategy phone call for each assigned project in a quiet, distraction-free environment Project Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 2 writing projects per week and respond to all client communication within 48 business hours Preferred Healthcare working experience Healthcare resume writing experience Certification from one of the major career organizations: NRWA (National Resume Writers' Association), CDI (Career Directors International), CPRW (Certified Professional Resume Writer), etc. Benefits & Perks Mentorship and support directly from our Founder & CEO, with the opportunity to contribute to continuous process and client success improvement initiatives The freedom and flexibility of remote work from any state in the United States Commission pay structure (~$280 - $890 per project, based on the clients' professional level and requested delivery speed) with no limit to your earning potential!
