Your role in our mission

  • Develop, maintain, and support high-quality application solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Execute change control activities and support the successful deployment of application enhancements and system updates.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and implement effective solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve technical and functional issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Support and enhance existing C/Unix-based applications and systems while ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance application quality, development processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in evaluating technical solutions and recommendations to support project and organizational objectives.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and maintain application software, including server, client, and web-based components.
  • Participate in technical design activities and contribute to the development of application architecture components and solution designs.
  • Work closely with architects, developers, and other team members to ensure technical solutions meet functional and business requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications, technical designs, and implementation plans based on project requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and deployment artifacts to support application integration and delivery.
  • Collaborate with software developers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes for Gainwell and its clients.
  • Stay current with development tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills and application delivery capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ Years of Programming, Application Development, and Batch Programming Experience Using C, Unix, and Linux
  • Strong SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and Relational Database Experience for Data Querying and Data Structures
  • Experience with System Integration, Scripting, Software Development, and SDLC Methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
  • Preferred Experience with Medicaid IT Systems, Healthcare Systems, and Regulatory Environments
  • Strong Communication, Stakeholder Management, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Project Management, Cloud Platforms (Azure and AWS), and DevOps/CI/CD Practices

The pay range for this position is $72,800.00 - $104,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
