Role Description The Hebrew Transcriber role is a part-time, remote position focused on converting spoken Hebrew audio and video content into accurate written text. Day-to-day tasks include listening to recordings, transcribing dialogue and relevant audio details, and applying appropriate formatting and labeling according to project guidelines. The role involves verifying transcription accuracy, correcting errors, and ensuring adherence to style, timing, and quality standards. Hebrew Transcribers may work on diverse content types such as media, business calls, learning materials, and AI training data. Collaboration with project managers and, when needed, providing status updates or clarifications on challenging audio segments is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong Hebrew language proficiency, including excellent listening, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary skills.
• Ability to accurately transcribe audio and video content, with attention to detail, consistency, and correct formatting.
• Comfort with digital tools and transcription platforms, basic typing proficiency, and reliable internet connectivity.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple short-term assignments remotely.
• Familiarity with audio quality issues (accents, background noise, overlapping speech) and strategies for handling them.
• Basic English reading skills for project instructions; prior experience in transcription, linguistics, or localization is a plus.
• Commitment to data privacy, confidentiality, and adherence to client-specific guidelines and ethical standards.
