Role Description The Hebrew Transcriber (Remote) will be responsible for accurately converting spoken Hebrew audio and video content into written text on a full-time basis. Day-to-day tasks include listening to recordings, transcribing speech with high attention to detail, applying appropriate spelling, punctuation, and formatting standards, and ensuring consistency with project guidelines. The role involves tagging content where required, validating transcriptions for accuracy, and correcting errors or inconsistencies. The Hebrew Transcriber will collaborate with project managers and quality reviewers, follow established workflows, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and data security. This is a remote role, requiring reliable internet access and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Hebrew (native or near-native level) and solid command of English for instructions and communication.
• Excellent listening, comprehension, and typing skills, with the ability to handle varying accents, audio quality, and speech speeds.
• Experience in transcription, data annotation, or linguistic tasks, including familiarity with transcription tools and platforms.
• High attention to detail, strong proofreading and editing abilities, and commitment to maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to follow style guides and project specifications, apply structured workflows, and meet deadlines reliably.
• Comfort working in a remote environment with good time management, self-organization, and professional communication skills.
• Basic technical proficiency, including using web-based tools, managing files securely, and maintaining stable internet connectivity.
• Previous work with localization, AI data services, or multilingual projects is an advantage.
• Relevant education or training in linguistics, languages, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
