Why therapists choose South Coast

You became a therapist to help people heal, not to fight a system that wears you down. At Hope Healing Connection, you will do meaningful clinical work from home most days, keep a predictable schedule, and grow your skills with free, high-quality training, backed by an organization that has been serving Southern California families for more than 40 years.

South Coast Community Services is a $40 million, 40+-year-old nonprofit that is still growing. That means stability for you, and room to advance as our programs expand.

What we offer

Pay that respects your license

  • New rate structure for licensed therapists. We recently rebuilt our compensation for licensed clinicians to be competitive in today's market.
  • Bonus and merit-increase eligibility tied to clear, established metrics.

Health coverage your whole family can afford

  • $10.45 per pay period covers your entire family on one of our employee-paid medical plan options. That is about $21 a month for family coverage, which is rare anywhere and could put thousands of dollars back in your pocket each year.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.

Time to recharge

  • 26 paid days off in your first year: 15 days of PTO plus 11 paid holidays.
  • 9/80 schedule: work nine days, get every other Friday off, which adds up to 26 extra three-day weekends a year.
  • Hybrid flexibility: telehealth from home, with in-person or field work as needed.

A culture of learning

  • in evidence-based practices such as EMDR, PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), CSC, and others. These certifications can cost thousands of dollars if you pay for them yourself.
  • Clinical autonomy, with support from experienced colleagues and leadership who have done this work themselves.
  • Opportunities to supervise and mentor associate clinicians and grow into leadership.
  • A diverse client population: adults, children, adolescents, families and couples.
