Role Description The Hiring Japanese Freelancer role is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting FullTime’s expansion and operations involving the Japanese market. Day-to-day tasks may include sourcing and screening Japanese-speaking freelance talent, coordinating communications between freelancers and internal teams, and assisting with translation or localization of job postings and related documentation into Japanese when needed. The role will also involve maintaining candidate records, scheduling online interviews, and providing feedback and status updates to hiring managers. This position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across different time zones.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Japanese and English, including reading, writing, and professional communication.
• Experience with recruitment or talent sourcing, particularly for freelance or remote roles.
• Comfort using online tools for communication, candidate tracking, and document management.
• Ability to understand and support basic localization or translation needs for job-related content.
• Excellent organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and capacity to work independently.
• Prior experience working with technology, SaaS, or mobility solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with Japanese business culture and etiquette is highly beneficial.
• Availability to collaborate across international time zones and maintain clear, timely communication.
