HPC Engineer (GPU)

HPC Engineer (GPU) required by one of the most exciting, well-resourced AI infrastructure startups in the world. The business works in close partnership with NVIDIA and other organisations shaping the future of data centres and global AI infrastructure.

Day-to-day operation of large-scale GPU platforms that power mission-critical AI workloads. You'll provision, maintain, validate, and troubleshoot GPU servers, ensuring consistent, high-performance infrastructure across racks and regions.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the GPU systems as the US nightshift, joining the small Singapore team
• Perform node imaging, bring-up, health checks, and lifecycle management across GPU systems.
• Run GPU validation, including health checks, NVLink validation, NCCL tests, and performance benchmarking.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex faults.
• Maintain accurate configuration, inventory, and fleet records.
• Support the deployment of new racks, clusters, and regional expansions.
• Improve automation, runbooks, and operational processes.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• GPU-based infrastructure administration
• Robust Linux & HPC experience
• Strong Slurm and some Kubernetes
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and system performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to supporting mission-critical environments.
