Welcome to Scoutnet

Scoutnet was established in August 2020 during the height of the pandemic, to take advantage of the forced Work From Home requirements of businesses, especially in the field of financial services call centres. We developed and deployed a secure Work-From -home platform for insurance products and (virtual call centres)which we make available to Product owners and retail client base owners.

We employ only the most modern of technology and trends like Cloud, SAAS, Work From Home, Software defined security and tap into the Digital and Gig economy. The ultimate goal is to have 5000 trained agents and multiple products on the platform in 5 years time.

The business model proved an instant success with first deployment of new generation products and agent platforms becoming operational in November 2020 with A Motor warranty product (AutoEaze). Since then three other products were developed in partnership with Large insurance players like Centriq, and especially with Dis-Chem health being a flagship affinity play. We now have upwards of 100 full time agents and staff with a confirmed availability of another 450 agents ready to accept work.


Job Description

To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Human Resources and Recruitment functions. The role is responsible for coordinating recruitment processes, maintaining HR records, supporting employee lifecycle activities, and ensuring smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Administration
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Draft and post job advertisements on job boards and company platforms.
• Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
• Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
• Prepare interview packs and assist during interviews when required.
• Conduct reference checks and assist with background verification.
• Issue offer letters and employment contracts.
• Maintain and update the recruitment tracker and candidate database.

HR Administration
• Maintain accurate employee records
• Prepare onboarding documentation and assist with new employee inductions.
• Update HR systems with employee data and changes (e.g. promotions, terminations).
• Assist with payroll inputs such as attendance, leave records, and new hires
. • Support the administration of employee benefits where applicable.
• Handle employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.

Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure all HR processes comply with company policies and labour legislation.
• Prepare HR reports (e.g. recruitment reports, headcount reports).
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

General HR Support
• Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
• Support performance management and disciplinary processes administratively.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in HR administration or recruitment support (preferred).
• Knowledge of recruitment processes and HR practices.
• Experience with HR systems or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an advantage
