Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £18,765 (Increasing to £22,912 in the second year) 

Contract: Full time, 2 Year Fixed Term Contract        

Hybrid working: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our HR & Resourcing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding and HR administration while working towards a recognised Level 3 apprenticeship qualification.

You'll play an important role in supporting the candidate and employee journey, working closely with the Resourcing Team, HR Hub, hiring managers and candidates. If you're organised, people-focused and eager to learn, this could be the perfect first step in your HR career.

What will you be doing?



  • Supporting recruitment campaigns across permanent, temporary, apprenticeship and early careers vacancies.

    • Coordinating interviews, assessment centres and candidate communications.
    • Assisting with onboarding activities, including contracts, offer letters and pre-employment checks.
    • Maintaining accurate records and data across HR and recruitment systems.
    • Supporting a range of HR and recruitment projects, helping to improve processes, enhance the candidate and employee experience, and contribute to key people initiatives across the business.
    • Responding to HR and recruitment queries while developing your knowledge of HR processes and best practice.

    What our recruitment process looks like:

    • Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
    • You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
    • If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
    • If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person interview at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and to find out more about an apprenticeship with us.
