We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Automation & Operations Specialist to manage HR operations, streamline processes, and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate should have strong HR operations, HR systems, process improvement, and communication skills.
The role involves managing employee lifecycle activities, identifying manual processes, developing automated workflows, maintaining HR data, and coordinating with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and ownership are essential.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, employee records, documentation, leave, attendance, and payroll coordination.
- Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and trackers.
- Handle employee queries and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain policies, SOPs, and operational documentation.
HR Automation & Systems
- Identify repetitive HR tasks and develop automated workflows.
- Automate onboarding, offboarding, leave requests, attendance, employee queries, and HR reporting.
- Configure and maintain HRIS, ERP, and workflow tools such as NextERP, Baserow, Appsmith, PowerApps, and Jira.
- Test, troubleshoot, and improve automation workflows.
- Support HR system implementation, data validation, and process integration.
Process Improvement
- Review and improve existing HR processes and workflows.
- Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, process maps, and templates.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend practical solutions.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to improve productivity and HR service delivery.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Explain HR policies, processes, and system updates effectively.
- Prepare professional emails, reports, and internal communications.
- Coordinate requirements, follow up on pending tasks, and ensure timely completion of HR activities.
- Demonstrate active listening, accountability, and professionalism when handling employee concerns.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HRIS, Process Automation, or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience in HR automation, workflow development, or process improvement.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ERP systems, employee databases, and reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience creating SOPs, trackers, reports, and process documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, ownership, and accountability.
Good to Have
- Experience with NextERP, ERPNext, Frappe HR, Baserow, Appsmith, PowerApps, Jira, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Power Automate, n8n.
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.
- Experience with Power BI, Superset, or other reporting platforms.
- Exposure to AI-powered HR solutions and employee self-service systems.
