THE SCOPE

With 30 years of history, today Gaming1 is one of the international leaders in both land-based and online games of chance (casino games, sports betting and poker). Its evolution at the heart of innovation is accompanied by a diversification and specialization of positions, with the creation of new cutting-edge jobs.

The HR Business Partner will act as a close and credible partner to the business, supporting managers and teams on people, organisational and transformation-related matters.

The role requires a combination of operational proximity, business understanding, analytical thinking and strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be expected to build trust quickly, challenge constructively and translate business priorities into pragmatic HR actions.

The role will mainly cover the following populations:

  • Finance: approximately 60 employees;
  • Customer Service Belgium: approximately 50 employees;
  • Customer Service / Compliance Romania: approximately 50 employees.

The overall scope represents approximately 150 to 160 employees, with an international dimension and varied challenges across different functions and locations.

YOUR ROLE

  • Act as the main HR point of contact for the assigned business populations.
  • Support managers in areas such as organisation, performance, engagement, team dynamics, employee relations and development.
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives linked to digitalisation, automation, lean management and evolving ways of working.
  • Help identify the people impact of business decisions and propose practical HR action plans.
  • Coach and advise managers in handling sensitive or complex people situations.
  • Partner with HR centres of expertise to provide consistent and effective solutions to the business.
  • Use HR and business data to support decision-making, including turnover, absenteeism, headcount, costs, performance and skills requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, particularly within Finance and Customer Service.
  • Challenge decisions where appropriate, bringing sound judgement, business understanding and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Support a respectful and transparent approach to change, including in situations involving resistance or difficult decisions.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, business-oriented HR Generalist or similar HR role close to operations.
  • Experience supporting managers and diverse employee populations.
  • Ability to work with demanding, technical and/or senior stakeholders.
  • Strong affinity with data, HR KPIs, budgets and business figures.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and action-oriented environment.
  • Experience in an international, matrix or transformation-driven organisation is an asset.
  • Experience supporting Finance, Customer Service, Operations or Corporate Functions is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, professional proficiency in French.
