About the Role

An internationally active company and leading player in the restaurant industry is looking for an HR Business Partner to support its franchise operations across German-speaking Switzerland.

In this role, you will independently manage HR matters for several franchise businesses, advising franchisees on a broad range of people-related topics and helping them maintain consistent HR standards. You will conduct HR audits, coach your contacts, and work closely with restaurant operators to address HR challenges effectively.

The position offers considerable autonomy and flexibility, with regular travel throughout German-speaking Switzerland and at least one visit per month to the company's headquarters in Crissier, near Lausanne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HR support for franchise businesses across German-speaking Switzerland, acting as a trusted advisor to franchisees on a wide range of HR matters.

  • Plan and conduct HR audits at restaurant locations, ensuring compliance with established HR standards.

  • Coach franchisees and other key contacts on HR-related issues, using sound judgement, diplomacy, and persuasive communication to move matters forward.

  • Visit franchise locations regularly to understand operational needs and provide practical HR guidance.

  • Organise your own appointments and travel arrangements independently, coordinating visits across the region.

  • Attend the company's headquarters in Crissier near Lausanne at least once a month to collaborate with the wider HR team.

Required Qualifications

  • Solid professional experience in human resources, ideally in an HR Business Partner role.

  • A confident and professional manner, with the ability to build effective relationships with franchisees and business stakeholders.

  • Strong advisory and coaching skills, combined with diplomacy and the ability to communicate HR requirements clearly and assertively.

  • Native-level German proficiency and good English skills.

  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout German-speaking Switzerland.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in retail, hospitality, the restaurant industry, franchising, or a decentralised business environment.

About the Company

The employer is an internationally active organisation and one of the leading companies in the restaurant industry. Its Swiss operations include an extensive network of franchise businesses, creating a varied environment for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with local operators.

What the Role Offers

  • A high degree of autonomy and flexibility in organising your working day.

  • The option to work an 80% schedule.

  • Support from an experienced HR team.

Work Arrangement

The role is based across German-speaking Switzerland, with remote work and regular visits to franchise locations. Attendance at the headquarters in Crissier near Lausanne is required at least once per month.
