About the Role

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide administrative and operational support for the Human Resources department while helping ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local, state, and federal employment regulations.

This role serves as a key resource for employees, applicants, managers, and business partners by supporting a variety of HR processes and initiatives. Based in Houston, Texas, this hybrid position requires two days per week in the office and offers the opportunity to work closely with HR leadership while supporting employees across the organization.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources Business Partners and the HR team.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, training sessions, and related logistics.
  • Prepare, proofread, edit, and distribute HR communications, correspondence, and mailings.
  • Track and maintain company promotional inventory and materials.
  • Assist with communications involving employees, applicants, vendors, and business partners.
  • Conduct online research and track project progress as needed.
  • Maintain organized records and a professional office environment.
  • Coordinate activities with external vendors and service providers.
  • Manage department phone calls, emails, mail, and package distribution.
  • Support HR initiatives, projects, and daily department operations.
  • Assist colleagues and leadership with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
  • Help ensure HR processes and practices remain compliant with applicable employment regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative support, Human Resources, or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
