At STgenetics, we're not your typical agriculture company. We're a global leader in livestock genetics and reproductive technology, operating in more than 22 countries and helping farmers worldwide improve productivity, sustainability and profitability through cutting-edge genetic solutions.

Our innovations influence food production systems across the globe and now we're looking for a motivated HR Coordinator to help drive our people agenda across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a unique opportunity for an early-career HR professional who wants exposure far beyond traditional administration. You'll gain hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, payroll, HR systems, policy development and international projects, while working closely with leaders across multiple countries.
Why You'll Love This Role
During your first six months, you'll play a key role in implementing a new HR Information System (HRIS) across Australia and New Zealand, working alongside global HR colleagues and external specialists. You'll contribute to projects that directly influence how we attract, support, and develop our people.
You'll also have the opportunity to:
· Work with teams across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America.
· Build exposure to international employment practices.
· Partner with business leaders on people initiatives.
· Learn from an experienced global HR team.
· Travel between Australia and New Zealand.
· Develop your career in recruitment, HR advisory, learning & development, and people strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
HR Operations & Employee Experience
· Coordinate payroll inputs and employee data management.
· Prepare employment contracts, variations, and HR documentation.
· Manage leave, absenteeism and employee records.
· Act as the first point of contact for HR-related employee enquiries.
· Support employee engagement activities, team events, and wellbeing initiatives.
· Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance across Australia and New Zealand.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
· Create engaging job advertisements across Seek, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
· Coordinate recruitment campaigns and candidate communications.
· Schedule interviews and assist hiring managers throughout the selection process.
· Prepare employment offers and onboarding documentation.
· Help create a positive and engaging employee onboarding experience.
· Support learning and development initiatives across the business.
HR Projects & Compliance
· Assist with the implementation and rollout of our new HRIS platform.
· Support the development of HR policies and procedures.
· Research employment legislation and industry best practices.
· Assist with remuneration, benefits, insurance, and employee programs.
· Help ensure compliance with employment law and company policies across both countries.

We're interested in people who are:
· Driven and eager to learn.
· Highly organised and detail-oriented.
· Confident communicating with people at all levels.
· Comfortable managing multiple priorities.
· Curious, proactive and solutions-focused.
· Excited by working in a fast-paced international environment.
Preferred Experience
· 1-3 years' experience in HR, recruitment, administration, or a related field.
· Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
· Exposure to payroll and employee record management.
· Understanding of Australian and/or New Zealand employment legislation.
· Experience using HR systems, payroll systems, or Microsoft 365 applications.
