About This Job

  • MindfulBear is a specialist counselling centre for children and teens aged 5–18
  • Wed–Sun (5-day week), closed on public holidays. 10am–7pm weekdays, 9am–6pm weekends. 1 day WFH
  • Near Marine Parade MRT
  • SGD 3,200–3,700/month, based on experience

Job Scope

Payroll & Compensation (with Finance)

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including CPF, tax, and statutory contributions, via Talenox
  • Administer incentive and commission payments for counsellor roles
  • Maintain payroll records and handle staff pay queries

Contracts & Documentation

  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, offer letters, and variations
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records
  • Track and administer leave and other statutory entitlements per the Employment Act
  • Monitor team's work attendance and prepare monthly attendance report

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate interviews and new hire onboarding — documentation, orientation, system access
  • Manage exit processes, including final settlements, acknowledgements, and exit interviews

Staff Engagement & Relations Support

  • Support staff communications across both centres (WhatsApp updates, engagement touchpoints)
  • Help plan and run staff appreciation and wellbeing initiatives
  • Be an accessible point of contact for HR policy and process questions
  • Provide admin and coordination support for grievance, disciplinary, and investigation processes

Compliance

  • Support compliance with the Singapore Employment Act, MOM guidelines, and TAFEP's Workplace Fairness framework
  • Keep HR policies and templates current with regulatory changes

Any other Ad hoc duties if required.


Requirements

  • Singaporean or PR
  • Diploma/degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of HR generalist experience
  • Familiarity with the Employment Act and statutory requirements (CPF, IRAS, MOM) is a strong advantage
  • IHRP certification is a plus
