The Workforce Strategies (WFS) Generalist role supports the Workforce Strategies Advisory and HRIS teams with various engagements and projects. The WFS Generalist is central to ensuring high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction, working in close collaboration with team members to meet deadlines and respond to the unique challenges of each client. This role offers a platform for significant growth and the chance to contribute to innovative HR solutions in an outsourced service environment.

Success Factors

Responsibilities

  • Support team with client projects and initiatives, including outsourced HR support, employee handbooks, job descriptions, recruiting, compensation, employee engagement, HRIS implementation, HR audits, and more
  • Support in the creation, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote positive work environment with client employee relations issues, performance management, and progressive discipline
  • Collaborate with the WFS team designing in developing and delivering training programs to support professional growth within client organizations
  • Provide support with client recruitment processes, may assist with job analysis, job description and job posting development, pre-screening, and interviewing
  • Remain knowledgeable and compliant with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information and willingly take on additional responsibilities to support client needs and objectives
  • Any other duty as needed to drive to the vison, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the firm

People Management and Relationships

  • Contribute to a bold, caring, collaborative team environment by actively seeking opportunities to assist leadership and team members, adapting to different working styles
  • Proactively and effectively communicate information regarding updates, issues, and concerns to client PIC, RKL partners, leadership, team members, and clients
  • Take responsibility for the completion and quality of assigned work, while seeking and receptive to feedback and open to new ideas for personal and professional development

Business Growth

  • Understanding of RKL Virtual’s value proposition, RKL’s business model, service lines, and competitive landscape
  • Participate in client discovery sessions to help gather accurate information on client requirements and expectations for successful project outcomes. Collaborate on developing and presenting client proposal
  • Contribute to the expansion of the business through exceptional client service, representing the firm at conferences and networking events, community involvement and identifying new opportunities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Ability

  • Broad knowledge of HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, and performance management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively interface with clients, firm leadership and team members with varied technical aptitudes to effectively convey complex HR concepts, recommendations, and strategies at all levels
  • Effective time management, proficient in setting priorities, managing multiple projects, overcoming obstacles, and utilizing organizational skills and attention to detail to accomplish tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to the collective goals of the firm and supporting colleagues in their client engagements
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis on HR regulations, best practices, and industry trends, and translate findings into actionable insights for clients
  • Problem solving skills; ability to identify issues, analyze cause, develop innovative solutions, shift focus and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Adept with a variety of software, Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and payroll software, multimedia training platforms and amenable to learning other productivity software

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • 1 year of HR experience, preferably in a consultancy or outsourced HR services environment
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in HR, communication, or business is preferred

Essential Functions

  • Ability to work in a stationary position and use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to travel to and from client meetings or on-site trainings
  • Adequate manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and printers
  • Capability to read and understand information presented on a computer screen and in written documents
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members in person, over the phone, and through electronic correspondence
  • Flexibility to attend in-person meetings or training sessions as required, which may involve travel and overnight stays
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including potential for work outside of standard business hours to meet client needs
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs
  • Ability to bend, kneel, twist, or reach out

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $75,000
