HR Generalist

When ownership of a German family business changes, so do responsibilities, reporting lines and sometimes contracts, and our clients need HR support through that period. We're adding an HR Generalist in Germany for it. It's a full-time role, remote from anywhere in Germany, and our team works from Charlotte, six hours behind.

Responsibilities you would hold

• Map who holds each responsibility today and who will take it over
• Prepare role descriptions and reporting lines for successors and new managers
• Help client HR teams plan onboarding for family members joining the business
• Keep HR documents, organisation charts and timelines up to date
• Write short summaries for owners and boards

What you should already have

• A degree in business administration, psychology or human resources, or completed training with an HR focus
• First HR experience from a job, an internship or a working student position
• Employment contracts and job descriptions you've worked with
• Excel and PowerPoint

Would help

• Experience in a family business
• Personio, SAP SuccessFactors or another HR system
• Succession or change projects
