This is a hands-on delivery role, providing on-the-ground HR support throughout the full lifecycle of restructuring activity for Polish-speaking employee populations - from planning and consultation through to implementation and closure. You will work closely with senior HRBPs and business leaders, acting as a primary point of contact for Polish-speaking employees and managers, and ensuring the process is delivered accurately, compliantly, and with care. Job Description Key Responsibilities Restructuring Support & Delivery Support the end-to-end delivery of restructuring and redundancy programmes for Polish-speaking employee populations, working alongside the HRBP/programme lead Coordinate and administer collective and individual consultation processes, in compliance with Polish Labour Code requirements Prepare, translate, and localise consultation materials, letters, and employee notifications between English and Polish Support employee impact assessments and the assessment & selection (A&S) process Take accurate minutes of consultation meetings and maintain up-to-date case files and trackers Manage the issue of formal notifications and settlement/termination documentation in line with local requirements Update HRIS (e.g., Workday) records throughout the restructuring lifecycle Support the calculation and administration of severance/redundancy payments in accordance with Polish employment law Employee Relations & Compliance Act as the primary point of contact for Polish-speaking employees and managers throughout the process, providing translation/interpretation support during meetings where required Ensure all restructuring activity complies with Polish Labour Code requirements relating to collective and individual redundancy consultation, including notifications to the State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) and local labour office (Powiatowy Urząd Pracy) where applicable Liaise with local works councils, trade unions, and social partners as required Support TUPE-equivalent (transfer of undertakings) obligations if they arise Escalate complex employee relations issues to senior HRBPs, legal counsel, or in-country specialists as appropriate HR Generalist & Advisory Support Provide day-to-day generalist HR support and guidance to leaders and employees involved in the change programme Respond to employee queries regarding process, entitlements, and next steps Coach and support line managers on how to conduct consultation and selection conversations Utilise centrally developed materials, templates, and guidance to support consistent, compliant delivery of change activity Work closely with legal counsel, ER specialists, and central programme teams as required What We’re Looking For Essential Experience Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken) - essential Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or HRBP, including direct involvement in restructuring, redundancy, or organisational change programmes Working knowledge of Polish Labour Code requirements relating to collective and individual redundancy consultation Experience preparing, reviewing, and translating HR documentation between Polish and English, including formal notifications and consultation materials Confident, empathetic communicator, comfortable supporting employees and managers through sensitive conversations Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail, particularly around documentation, record-keeping, and process compliance Comfortable using HRIS systems (Workday preferred) Ability to work independently and at pace, embedded within a client team Desirable Experience Based in Poland, or a Polish speaker based elsewhere with the right to work in their country of residence without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Experience within a shared services, GBS, or multinational environment supporting Polish-speaking employee populations Familiarity with works council or trade union engagement in Poland Previous interim or contractor experience in a similar HR Generalist or HRBP role CIPD qualified (or Polish equivalent) – desirable but not essential Assignment Details Remote role - you can be based in Poland, or elsewhere so long as you are fluent in Polish and authorised to work in your country of residence without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
