HR Recruitment Assistant

They are now seeking to hire an HR Recruitment Assistant to support their national recruitment and HR processes across multiple locations. This role is essential in attracting top talent, maintaining recruitment compliance, and delivering a seamless onboarding experience for new employees.
Job Responsibilities
Recruitment & Candidate Coordination
- Assist in posting job advertisements across relevant recruitment channels
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on role requirements
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Follow up with hiring managers on interview feedback and next steps
Onboarding & Compliance
- Prepare employment contracts and new hire documentation
- Ensure all pre-employment checks, forms, and certifications are completed
- Follow up with new hires to complete required onboarding documents
- Maintain recruitment records, HR databases, and employment documentation
- Support compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements related to hiring
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill positions and turnover rates
- Prepare reports on screening activities, hiring progress, and HR capacity
- Report on the onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Assist in improving recruitment processes for maximum efficiency
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team on daily operational matters
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in an HR administration, recruitment, or onboarding role
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional candidate manner
- High level of planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to track HR metrics accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
- Strong resilience, initiative, and self-motivation to achieve recruitment goals
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Prior studies or formal qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience using HR software platforms such as Employment Hero or similar cloud-based systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
