Sompo has a unique opportunity for an HR Technology Analyst who brings hands-on Workday experience and is ready to participate in meaningful, global initiatives. In this role, you will support, configure, and continuously improve Workday with a focus on HCM and Benefits. You will partner with colleagues across HR to solve complex problems, strengthen processes, and deliver high-quality HR technology solutions.

This is a strong fit for an analytical candidate who enjoys digging into the details, translating business needs into practical system solutions, and balancing day-to-day support with project work and platform improvements.

Location: This position will be based out of our Alpharetta, Georgia office. We strive for collaboration which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long lasting careers.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Workday module support: Provide hands-on support across HCM and Benefits. Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend thoughtful improvements.
  • Partner across the business: Collaborate closely with HR colleagues, IT, and Finance to understand needs and deliver solutions that work for both users and the organization.
  • Resolve escalated issues: Investigate and resolve Tier 2 support cases, partnering with Tier 1 HRIS Coordinator teams to provide clear, timely, and sustainable solutions.
  • Support testing and releases: Participate in user acceptance testing and routine system releases, helping ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Create strong documentation: Maintain clear, organized documentation for configurations, processes, decisions, and best practices to support team knowledge and training.
  • Lead project design and build: Lead design and configuration activities for global programs, from requirements and solution development through testing and implementation.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience in the Workday HCM Suite.
  • Configuration experience with HCM and Benefits. Additional knowledge of Time Tracking and/or Absence configuration is a plus.
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a growing ability to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Foundational project management skills, including coordinating tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Competency in data management and reporting (e.g., Excel, dashboards) and eagerness to learn more advanced analytics tools.
  • A strong commitment to data security, confidentiality, and quality.

Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.

At Sompo, we recognize that the talent, skills, and commitment of our employees drive our success. This is why we offer competitive, high-quality compensation and benefit programs to eligible employees.
