HRAnswers Advisor (IC2)

People Team · HRAnswers EMEA · Dublin, Ireland · Hybrid (1 day a week in office)

Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Dublin office. You’ll work on site at least one day a week and remotely the rest of the week.

A little about us

The HRAnswers team is the first point of contact for Yahoo employees and managers. We deliver quick, friendly and accurate guidance across our HR services, policies and systems, so our people can focus on what matters most. We work in a collaborative, tech-enabled team that values continuous learning, workflow improvement and a great employee experience.

About the role

We’re hiring an HRAnswers Advisor to join our EMEA team in Dublin, working directly with employees and managers across EMEA countries. You’ll apply HR policies and processes to resolve a high volume of requests, providing accurate, timely and empathetic support. You’ll also collaborate with senior advisors, HR Generalists, Centres of Excellence (COEs) and HR Business Partners when cases require specialist guidance or escalation.

Your day

  • Manage and resolve tier 1 and tier 2 requests through ServiceNow and the HRAnswers Bot, meeting service level agreements with accuracy and empathy.
  • Apply company policy and country-specific practices to questions on leave and time off, benefits and wellbeing, pay, and the employee lifecycle.
  • Process standard HR transactions accurately, including employment verification and HR letters, onboarding and offboarding paperwork, and Workday updates.
  • Handle contingent worker and EU Pay Transparency requests in line with established processes.
  • Track, document and escalate complex or sensitive cases, including employee relations matters, to senior advisors, COEs or HR Business Partners.
  • Guide and coach managers and employees through HR processes, promoting self-service tools and knowledge articles to improve the employee experience.
  • Leverage AI tools to support day-to-day work, streamline routine tasks and improve efficiency, while maintaining accuracy, sound judgement and accountability for the advice provided.
  • Identify repetitive requests and recommend improvements to knowledge content, automation and workflows, flagging outdated or inaccurate information to the knowledge team.
  • Follow SOX and internal control requirements, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance in day-to-day activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for an assigned HR project or initiative, supporting delivery and continuous improvement.

You must have

  • 2–4 years’ client-facing experience in HR, HR operations or HR shared services.
  • Working knowledge of core HR policies and the employee lifecycle, ideally across more than one EMEA country.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI tools, to support day-to-day activities and improve ways of working.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR colleagues, employees and managers across different countries.

Preferred qualifications

  • A degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Workday.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools, chatbots or knowledge management systems in an HR service delivery environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
  • Fluency in an additional European language, such as French, Spanish or German.
